
The PERFORM Experience ® was created and developed by Tabby Kerwin MAPP, following research and study into the science of happiness and wellbeing combined with lived experience of grief and poor mental health.
Working in the field of mental health and wellbeing, Tabby became aware that the narrative around mental health is one of reaction – we wait until someone is exeperiencing poor mental health or mental illness to signpost them to the help they need. This isn’t enough and we need to do more to help people become healthier and happier and reduce the number of lives lost from mental ill health.
Whilst this signposting is important and saves lives, we need to shift the narrative to one of protection and prevention and, based on her own experience of living with depression and anxiety to becoming emotionally fitter and growing with her grief, as part of her Masters in Applied Positive Psychology research, Tabby developed her unique PERFORM framework.

These elements, which are grounded in the science of positive psychology, are fundamental to leading a flourishing life and protecting mental health.
The PERFORM Experience ® shares this PERFORM framework through courses, books, resources, workshops and talks with the intention of empowering people to become emotionally fitter, protect their mental health and PERFORM at their best, building resilience so they can manage stress and difficult situations in life and work.
By combining the PERFORM framework with education around mental health awareness and suicide prevention, The PERFORM Experience ® is unique in that it is a flagship educational resource that not only creates awareness around mental health but actively equips organisations and individuals with the skills, tools and strategies to live healthier and happier lives and PERFORM at their best.
The PERFORM Experience ® is based on research, data and science surrounding wellbeing and mental health and connects the dots between investment and action, offering a unique three-tiered approach to wellbeing for productive, flourishing individuals & successful organisations.
