Schools spend most of their energy reacting: to the crisis, the referral, the child who has already fallen through the gaps. We work the other way round. Protection over reaction, building the confidence, language and systems that keep pupils and staff supported early, before difficulty becomes a crisis. That protective approach covers mental health across the whole school, and it has become urgent around grief support too.

From 1 September 2026, grief and bereavement become statutory content within the RSHE curriculum in England. Schools must teach that change and loss provoke a range of feelings, that grief is a natural response, and that everyone grieves differently. Most schools are not ready. We help you become ready, and stay ready.

Grief is already in every classroom. 1 in 20 young people will have lost a parent by the age of 16-years-old, and 127 children are newly bereaved of a parent every single day in the UK. The support a child receives at the time and afterwards is one of the strongest predictors of their long-term outcome. Trained staff and a clear policy are the two most important variables, and that is exactly what our training delivers.
